Yat Fan Cheung
Reservoir Engineer
Yat Fan joined TenOaks in December of 2022 and brings with him a
strong fundamental technical knowledge of reservoir modeling and reserve
evaluation. Prior to joining the team, Yat was a Reservoir Engineer with Shell
Oil Company in Houston where he participated in a wide range of business
activities, including well/reservoir management, well delivery, and field
development planning. Most recently, Yat worked Shell’s Perdido deepwater GOM
development area where he collaborated with a multidisciplinary subsurface team
to identify future drilling opportunities. In addition to his reservoir
engineering role, Yat also held the roles of Commercial Analyst in a Deal
Delivery team where he evaluated unconventional A&D opportunities, and as
an Offshore Wellsite Engineer for Perdido Spar. Yat earned a B.S. in
Petroleum Engineering and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma. He is a
licensed Professional Engineer with the Texas State Board.
