Clay joined TenOaks in February of 2021. Clay has 10 years of upstream E&P experience working for both private and publicly traded companies. Prior to joining TenOaks, Clay served as Senior Geologist for Jones Energy in Austin, Texas where he worked SCOOP, STACK, and the Western Anadarko. Clay has direct experience in the Anadarko, Permian, Arkoma, and East Texas Basins working for EXCO Resources, Silver Creek Oil & Gas, and Jones Energy. Clay earned his B.S. in Petroleum Geology from the T. Boone Pickens School of Geology at Oklahoma State University and is currently pursuing his MBA from the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University
