Bala joined TenOaks Energy Advisors as a Senior Associate in Capital Markets, where he advises energy clients on debt, equity, and alternative capital solutions. Prior to TenOaks, he worked eight years in structured finance and credit, including roles at SMBC Group in New York City and The Commercial Bank of Qatar in Doha, with a focus on cross-border energy and infrastructure financing. Bala earned an M.S. in Mathematical Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, an MBA in Finance and Operations Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Accounting and Finance.
